Welcome to Exams

Information regarding exams including, timetable, Exam Boards’ notices and Guidance for Parents and Candidates can be found by clicking links at the foot of this page. Other information, including the Internal Appeal Procedure can be obtained from the Exam Office at any time.

Please note that we hold any uncollected GCSE certificates for one year from the date of issue. After this time, you will need to contact the exam boards to obtain duplicate copies.

Examination Information

GCSE Results Day 21st August 2025

We look forward to welcoming Year 11s back to school on Thursday 21^st August 2025 to collect their examination results, which will be available for students to collect from 9.00am – 11.00am.Please park in our main car park. Students will enter school through the entrance near the main girls’ toilets/the Hall. We ask that you wait for your children to exit school via reception, and only come into school if you need to then accompany your child in seeking support.We pray that this day will be a cause for great celebration for you and your child. To support students who have not achieved the results needed to enrol on to their desired college courses, Senior Leaders, our Careers Advisor and representatives from Bury College and Holy Cross College will be on hand to support. For students who have queries about post-results services (e.g. access to scripts or remarks), Heads of Department and our Examinations Manager (Mr. Craven) will be available to advise.
Please note we cannot share GCSE results over the phone.The documents shared on 21^st August are not your child’s official GCSE certificates. We will invite students back for their Celebration Evening to collect these in the Autumn term of the new academic year; the date is to be confirmed and will be shared with you in due course, but is likely to be in late November. Students must collect their GCSE certificates and keep these safe, as they will be required to show their original certificates at future interviews for education and employment opportunities. They will be charged by the examination boards if they lose their certificates and require replacements.
