Design Technology
Design and Technology is an inspiring and practical subject. It helps students understand the roles of designers, manufacturers, and consumers in creating products that positively impact lives and minimize environmental harm. At KS3, students use creativity to design and make products through a carousel of projects.
3D Design
Three-dimensional design is defined here as the design, prototyping and modelling or making of primarily functional and aesthetic products, objects, and environments, drawing upon intellectual, creative and practical skills.
